Placido Domingo to perform Big Easy fundraiser
Placido Domingo, Denyce Graves, Paul Groves and Nathan Gunn will join the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and the New Orleans Opera Chorus for a special gala benefit concert later this year in aid of victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Scheduled for March 4 at The New Orleans Arena, the concert will also see Maestro Robert Lyall conducting the Louisiana Phil.
Tickets range from $10 to $1000 and are on sale now from local vendors. Patrons with premium seating will receive VIP Parking, a Champagne Patron Party before the Gala and "Dinner with the Stars" immediately following. These events are sponsored by the Women's Guild of the New Orleans Opera Association.
